Description
Finca Sophenia is an Argentinian winery recognised as one of the top quality wine producers from Argentina.By the Andes, altitude 4000 feet. Soils of alluvial origin, loose and highly permeable structure. Special pruning, irrigation and canopy management to obtain a balanced vineyard that provides high quality grapes.
Harvest during March and April. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature between 24 and 26°C. Aged for 3-4 months in contact with French and American oak.
Intense ruby red. An expressive and deep varietal, with character, spicy notes, fresh fruit, pepper and chocolate. Agile tannic structure, of harmonious body with a long finish.
Serve at 15-16°C. An ideal partner for any sort of rich meat dish, barbeques have a natural affinity.
