A deep intense ruby red, showcasing the wine's youthful vitality.
On the nose we get enticing and expressive aromas of fresh fruit, pepper and chocolate with spicy notes which makes it all the more exciting to try.
The altosur cabernet opens with bold concentrated flavours of dark fruit like black currant and plus. Long lasting tastes with a nice dry finish.
Finca Sophenia is an Argentinian winery recognised as one of the top quality wine producers from Argentina.
By the Andes, altitude 4000 feet. Soils of alluvial origin, loose and highly permeable structure. Special pruning, irrigation and canopy management to obtain a balanced vineyard that provides high quality grapes.
Harvest during March and April. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature between 24 and 26°C. Aged for 3-4 months in contact with French and American oak.
