Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are the two classic white grapes of Bordeaux. This blend of 70% Sauvignon and 30% Semillon is from young vines at the chateau that is still in training for "Grands Vins."
This is the house wine at Gordon Ramsay's three Michelin star restaurant in London, a "special selection" at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Cornwall and the prestige house white at Hotel du Vin across the UK.
This stunning white is aromatic and zesty. Made by Gavin Quinney at his Chateau in the Entre-Deux-Mers, where we think make some of the finest Sauvignon.
This works with a whole host of seafood and light dishes. Eg - seabass ceviche, shellfish, greek salad, fattoush salad, grilled calamari, guacamole, gazpacho, goat's cheese salad, saganaki; the list is endless - Charlie Stein
