The story of Chateau les Vieilles Murailles dates back centuries, tracing its roots to a time when winemaking was an artistry passed down through generations. The estate's name, which translates to "Old Walls Castle," pays homage to the ancient stone walls that encircle the property, symbolizing its enduring connection to the past.
The estate's history is intertwined with the evolution of Bordeaux winemaking itself. From its early days as a modest vineyard tended to by local families to its transformation into a recognized winemaking estate, Chateau les Vieilles Murailles has weathered the tides of time, adapting to changing techniques and preferences while staying true to its heritage.
While the estate reveres time-honored practices, modern techniques are seamlessly integrated to ensure that each vintage reaches its fullest potential.
