This is 100% Prieto Picudo, a rare grape found in the North-West corner of Spain. Its dark skins create an intense colour, and intense flavours in the glass. Think wild blackberries and blueberries with a touch of star anise. Do not be fooled by its bold character; this wine shows great minerality and is a fantastic wine to pair with fattier seafood like sardines, scallops, lobster, cod and haddock, especially if cooked with olives. A fantastic wine!
