A deep, dark red wine. Ripe flavours of currant and blueberry fruit. Spicy, rich and smooth. Toasty oak finish.
Winemaker's Notes:
Made from fruit derived from Henry of Pelham's own vineyard, Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with full maceration then aged in American oak barrels for 6 to 8 months (24% new oak)
Food pairing:
Barbecued meat, a variety of strong cheeses and cured meats and strawberries rolled in black pepper.
