2015 Vintage

The Lindner family of Langmeil winery has been immersed in the Barossa's culture of farming, food, wood and community for six generations.
Their commitment to quality in all aspects is unwavering and any wine that bears the Langmeil name represents the family's pursuit of excellence in wine and community.
This variety is the foundation of the Barossa's winemaking history with its ability to produce quality fortified wine, the wine style thar brought prosperity to the region.
The mid 70s saw the start of a decline in fortified wine sales and demand for the grape slowed.
The 1990s however brought a renewed passion for Grenache, particularly from old vines, highlighting its pedigree as a superb table wine.
A variety once again celebrated locally and something Langmeil is proud to make and share with you.

Colour: Light to medium depth crimson.

Aroma: Dark cherry and raspberry fruits mingle with sweet and white pepper spice and hints of vanilla add to the complexity.

Palate: Ripe, red berry and dark cherry flows onto the palate, melding into lovely sweet and briary spice. The finish lingers on a fruitful and spicy note with typical chalky yet fine tannins.
