Wines made in the Lanquedoc are typically French in character while Roussillon, acquired from Spain in the 17th century has influences from the Catalan culture.
Languedoc-Roussillon is showing great progress in the quality of its wines, new and emerging styles, paired with innovative producers is breathing new life into this winemaking in the region.
