Made from old vines around 50 years of age, there's a whole layer of complexity to add to the quince and vanilla aromas and ripe melon and peach flavours. Silky on the tongue but with a spiky touch of ginger to liven things up, there's plenty going on. If you've tried a decent Roussanne from the south of France, you'll get the idea of this. Understated and intriguing with hidden depths.
