A perfumed, lacquered and candy ripe nose of blackcurrant pastille and violets. Full bodied yet juicy, there is a lovely liquorice from the Mataro. Very McLaren Vale in character. Concentrated and plummy, yet not so "shirazzy." That purple coloured perfume carries the palate with an ease of tannins and smashable acidity. Yum.
