Villa Maria Riesling is a delightfully crisp and refreshing white wine from New Zealand.
Made from 100% Riesling grapes, its pale straw color and citrus aromas give way to flavors of lemons, limes, and green apples.
With a bright acidity and a touch of sweetness, this wine is perfect for pairing with light seafood dishes or spicy Asian cuisine.
The grapes are handpicked from vineyards in Marlborough, where the cool climate and free-draining soil help to produce grapes with intense flavor and aroma.
Bright lifted aromas reminiscent of spring, floral perfume, fresh lemon and limes jump out of the glass.
The palate is light and crisp showing juicy apricot and mandarin flavours with a hint of ginger spice.
This Riesling is an off-dry style displaying excellent fruit sweetness balanced with zesty sherbet-like acidity on the finish.
