Throughout the cycle the weather brought good conditions allowing the grapes to become healthy and well balanced. This resulted in the wines having an elegant acidity, with well-balanced, silky tannins, making them ideal for ageing.

Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, lasting 19 days. After malolactic fermentation, a selected number of wines were transferred into 4.5 year American Oak Barrels, where they remained for 3 years, with a traditional racking every six months. This wine was bottled December 2019.

Tasting Notes:

Intense aromas with notes of red fruit, plums, blackberries and blueberries with subtle hints of pastry, coffee, caramel and vanilla creating a complex bouquet. Fresh, vibrant and well-balanced, with pleasant tannins and a long lingering finish.

Pairing Notes:

Pairs well with stews, seasoned fish, and desserts with chocolate couverture or red berries.
