Intense dark colour with purple rim. On the nose shows aromas such as strawberry jam and blackberry, redcurrant, blueberry and liquorice. Allaccompanied by a spiced touch of dill, black pepper and cinnamon. Balsamic, vanilla, a fresh and soft mentholated note, cacao toasted and toffee. Notes of compote of mature fruit and cherry. In mouth, it shows mature and embracing tannins, with a good unctuosity. Powerful, balanced and warm. Nice after-tasting.
It matches with lamb stew, stews, roasted piglet, spicy sausage, black pudding, Spanish omelette, pepper fillet, Christmas turkey, Parmesan, beans with chorizo, meatballs with sauce.
