GRAPE; MalbecCOUNTRY: France
750ML
13% ABV
Vibrant garnet with notes of mulberry and underlying redcurrant and blackcurrant aromas. Complex, with fine raspberry and red-fruit flavours backed by a touch of chocolate truffle richness. A mid-weight harmonious wine, an expression of purity and youthful fruitiness.
Delicious with steak and meats from the grill. It works with seared tuna, too.
Old vines grown in the warm Mediterranean sunshine of the Languedoc, tempered by the altitude and the cooler nights thanks to elevation and proximity to the Pyrenees; ideal conditions for longer, slower ripening which results in a finer profile than Malbec grown in warmer climates.
