Picpus Malbec Syrah is a good value, concentrated, generous red that’s all about wild berry fruit and spicy depth.
Deep ruby in colour with lifted aromas of blackberry, redcurrant, strawberry, liquorice and a touch of menthol from the Malbec.
On the palate, it’s plush and medium-bodied, bursting with ripe dark fruit, gentle spice and soft, rounded tannins.
It finishes with a savoury aftertaste.
A great example of a South West France red with plenty of flavour.
Pairs wonderfully with red grilled meats, stews and cheeses. Or enjoy it on its own
